Description/Ordering Information
The LM2575 greatly simplifies the convenience of switching power supplies by providing all the positive effects required for buck (buck) switching regulators in an integrated circuit design. In a wide input voltage range and available in an adjustable output version, the LM2575 integrates a switch with excellent line and load regulation load current to deliver 1 lean. The device also provides internal frequency compensation, fixed frequency oscillator, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal shutdown. In addition, manual shutdown can also be done externallyON/ OFF terminal.
The LM2575 is a better choice for a popular three-terminal linear regulator. Due to its high efficiency, the size of the heatsink is greatly reduced, and in many cases, the absence of a heatsink is necessary. Optimized for use with a standard series offered from several different inductor manufacturers, the LM2575 is greatly simplified, requiring only 4 to 6 external components to operate in addition to the design of switch-mode power supplies.
The LM2575 features a temperature range of 125°C that operates at the virtual junction -40°C
