illustrate
The LM2585 series of regulators are monolithic integrated circuits designed specifically for flyback, step-up, and forward converter applications. The device is available in 4 different output voltage versions: 3.3V, 5.0V, 12V, and adjustable.
Requiring a minimum number of external components, these regulators are cost-effective and easy to use. Typical circuitry for boost and flyback regulators included in the datasheet. Simultaneous listing of diodes and capacitors and standard design work for a home, selection guide for these switching regulator inductors and sweepback transformers.
The power switch is a 3.0A NPN device that can independently shut off 65V. Protect the power switching current and thermal limit circuit, and the undervoltage lockout circuit. The IC contains a 100 kHz fixed frequency internal oscillator, allowing the use of small magnetic components. Other features include a soft-start mode to reduce inrush current, current mode control during start-up to improve input voltage and output load transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limit rejection. The output voltage tolerance is ± 4%, and the power supply system is guaranteed under the specified input voltage and output load conditions
