illustrate
The LM2599 series of regulators are monolithic integrated circuits that provide all the active functions for a step-down switching regulator (buck), driving an excellent line and load regulation 3A load capacity. These devices are available with fixed output voltages in 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and adjustable output versions.
This series of switching regulators is similar to the LM2596 series, adding additional regulatory and performance features.
Requiring a minimum number of external components, these regulators are simple to use and include internal frequency compensation †, improved line and load specifications, fixed frequency oscillators, shutdown/soft start, error flag delay, and error flag output.
The LM2599 series switches at 150 kHz so that smaller size will require filter assemblies with lower frequency switching regulators. The standard 7-pin TO-220 package comes with several different bending options, and the 7-pin TO-263 surface mount package.
Standard inductor series (through-hole and surface mount types) can be produced from several different manufacturers optimized using the LM2599 series. This feature greatly simplifies the design of switching power supplies.
Other features include guaranteed 4% tolerance under all conditions under input voltage and output load conditions ± output voltage, and 15% frequency ± oscillator. 包括外部关机,具有典型的80μA待机电流。 Self-protection features include a two-stage current limit, output switching, and complete protection under overtemperature shutdown fault conditions.
