The LM26400Y is monolithic, dual-output, available in a 16-pin LLP package or a thermally enhanced ETSSOP fixed-frequency PWM step-down DC/DC regulator. With a minimum number of external components and internal loop compensation, LM26400Y easy to use. Capable of pushing advanced devices designed with internal 175mΩNMOS switches using high power density, state-of-the-art 0.5 μm BiCMOS technology achievements 2A loads. The world-class control circuitry allows for a time of about 40 nanoseconds low, thus supporting high frequencies over the entire input range of 3V to 20V conversion down to an output voltage of only 0.6V. The LM26400Y is highly stable within the range of line and load conditions with features such as peak current mode control and internal compensation. The switching frequency is set internally to 500kHz for optimal size and thermal conditions in a wide range of applications. Given an asynchronous architecture, more than 90% efficiency is easy to achieve. External shutdown is included to enable independent opening and closing of the two channels. Other features include programmable soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulse through pulse current limiting and frequency foldback, integrated bootstrap structure, and thermal shutdown.
