The LM2660/LM2661 CMOS charge pump voltage converter reverses a positive negative voltage in the voltage range of 1.5V to 5.5V. The LM2660/LM2661 uses two low-cost capacitors to provide a cost-free, 100 mA size output current, inductance, and EMI-related converter. With an operating current of only 120μA and an operating efficiency greater than 90% at maximum loads, the LM2660/LM2661 are ideal for battery-powered systems. The LM2660/LM2661 is also available as a positive voltage multiple.

The oscillator frequency can be reduced by adding an external capacitor to the oscillation pin. In addition, the OSC pin can be used to drive an external clock, the LM2660/LM2661. For the LM2660, one frequency control (FC) pin is selected as the frequency of the 10 kHz or 80 kHz oscillator. For the LM2661, the external off (standard deviation) pin function sector is replaced. The SD pin can be used to disable the device, reducing the quiescent current to 0.5μA. For LM2661, the oscillation frequency is 80 kHz.
