The LM2696 is a pulse-width modulation (PWM) buck regulator capable of delivering up to 3A of load capacity. The control loop adopts a fixed on-time control scheme that feeds forward with the input voltage. This provides a topology with a good transient response without the need for compensation. The input voltage feedforward ensures that a constant switching frequency of V remains over the entire range.

The LM2696 switches are capable of 100 kHz to 500 kHz frequency range. An integrated NMOS 130mΩ high-end combo switch LM2696 can utilize small external components to provide high efficiency. The internal soft-start and power-good markings also provide easy sequencing that allows for multiple regulators.

The LM2696 is available with adjustable outputs in a TSSOP-16 package on bare pads.
