The LM2703 is a micropower boost DC/DC in a small 5-pin SOT-23 package. A current limit, fixed shutdown time control scheme saves the operating current with high efficiency, thus in a wide range of load conditions. The switching at 22V allows the output voltage up to 21V high. The low 400ns shutdown time allows for the use of slim, flat inductors and capacitors to minimize space awareness portable application volume and cost. The LM2703 is ideal for use in LCDs that require low current and high efficiency, as well as for white LED applications for mobile phone backlight panels. The LM2703 can drive up to 4 white LEDs from a single lithium-ion battery.
