The LM27313 switching regulator is a 1.6 MHz fixed-frequency current-mode boost converter.

The authors use the SOT-23 package as a result of the extremely high power density of small inductors and capacitors with minimal switching loss by 800 mA. 30V internal switching, making these solutions perfect to increase voltages up to 5V to 28V.

This part of the logic level shutdown pin can be used to reduce quiescent current and extend battery life.

Protection is through cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. Internal compensation simplifies the design and reduces the number of components.
