illustrate
LM2734Z regulators are monolithic, high-frequency, PWM buck DC/DC converters assembled in a 6-pin low-profile SOT23 and law firm non-pull-back package. It provides all the active functions, provides fast transient response and precisely regulates local DC/DC conversion with the smallest possible PCB area.
With external components, and the minimum ® supported by online design via WEBENCH ™ LM2734Z is ease of use. Internal 300mΩNMOS drive capability 1A load switch state-of-the-art 0.5μm BiCMOS process technology in use, providing optimal power density. The world-class control circuitry allows for a decrease of 13ns, supporting very high slewing frequencies down to a minimum output voltage of 0.8V over the entire 3V to 20V input operating voltage range. The internal setting of the switching frequency is 3MHz, allowing the use of very small surface mount inductors and capacitors. Even at very high operating frequencies, efficiencies of up to 85% are easily achievable. External shutdown is included with an ultra-low standby current of 30nA. LM2734Z utilizes current mode control and internal compensation to provide a wide range of operating conditions high-performance regulation. Other features include an internal soft-start circuit to reduce inrush current, pulse through pulse current limiting, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.
