The LM2735 is an easy-to-use, high-efficiency space 2.1A low-side switch boost and ideal for SEPIC DC-DC regulated regulators. It offers all the features of an activity, providing fast transient response and precise adjustment of local DC/DC conversion with minimal PCB area. Internally set to a switching frequency of 520kHz or 1.6MHz, it allows the use of extremely small surface-mount inductors and chip capacitors while providing up to 90% efficiency. Current mode control and internal compensation provide ease of use, minimal component count, and high-performance regulation over a wide range of operating conditions. Ideal for portable applications with ultra-low standby current of 80 nA with external shutdown function. Space-saving is available in SOT23-5, LLP-6, and eMSOP-8 packages. Other features include internal soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulse through pulse current limiting, thermal shutdown.
