The LM2735 is an easy-to-use, high-efficiency space 2.1A low-side switch boost and SEPIC DC-DC regulated regulator. It offers all active functionality, providing fast transient response and minimal PCB area to precisely adjust local DC/DC conversions. An internally programmed switching frequency of 520kHz or 1.6MHz allows the use of very small surface mount inductors and chip capacitors while providing efficiencies up to 90%. Current mode control and internal compensation provide ease of use, minimal component count, and high-performance regulation over a wide range of operating conditions. An external shutdown function is ideal for portable applications with ultra-low standby current of 80 nA. Available in SOT23-5, LLP-6 and eMSOP-8 packages provide space savings. Other features include internal soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulse pass pulse current limiting, and thermal shutdown.
