illustrate
The LM2734 regulator is a monolithic, high-frequency, PWM step-down DC/DC converter in a low-profile 6-pin SOT23 package. It offers all the positive features, providing local DC/DC fast transient response and minimal PCB area for precisely regulated conversion.
With a minimum number of external components, support via WEBENCH ® online design ™ The LM2734 is easy to use. Capable of pushing and using state-of-the-art 0.5 μm BiCMOS technology with internal 300mΩNMOS switches at the highest power density available 1A loads. The world-class control circuitry allows for up to 13ns as low as 13ns, thus supporting the entire abnormal input voltage range of 0.8V to the lowest output voltage and high frequency conversion. The switching frequency is set internally to 550kHz (LM2734Y) or 1.6MHz (LM2734X), allowing inductors and capacitors to be mounted on very small surfaces. Even at very high operating frequencies, efficiencies of up to 90% are easily achievable. External shutdown is included with an ultra-low standby 30nA current. The LM2734 adopts functions such as current mode control and internal compensation under wide operating conditions and high regulation performance. Other features include internal soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulse through pulse current limiting, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.
