illustrate
LM27402 is a synchronous voltage mode DC/DC buck controller with inductor DCR current sensing function. Detects inductor current without the need for additional resistance, improving overall efficiency and facilitating accurate continuous current limiting sensing of powertrain elements. A 0.6V ± 1% reference voltage enables high accuracy and low output voltage capability. LM27402 is suitable for a wide variety of input rail input operating voltage ranges from 3V to 20V.
The LM27402 voltage mode control loop uses input voltage feedforward to maintain stability over the entire input voltage range. The switching frequency from 200 kHz to 1.2 MHz is adjustable. Dual high-current integrated N-channel MOSFET drivers support large Q-G, low-R DS(on) MOSFETs. A power good indicator provides the ability to sequence the power rails and output fault detection. The externally adjustable soft-start feature limits the inrush current and provides monotonous output control during start-up. Other features include external tracking of other power supplies, integrated LDO bias power supply, and synchronization capability. LM27402 is a 16-pin eTSSOP package and is available in a 4 mm x 4 mm 16-pin bare LLC.
