The LM2753 is a flash LED capable of driving with a pulse current of 400mA at an input voltage of 3.6V. A switching capacitance multiplier, the LM2753 provides a regulated supply output (V OUT) of 5V over an input supply voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V. Switch the output, I go out less than 10ns to turn on and provide a flash LED maximum current. The flash LED current passes through the ballast resistor. Continuous lighting (flashlight mode) resistor connection between me, programming and V OUT. This device uses only three small, low-cost ceramic capacitors.

The LM2753 uses the Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) regulation. Typical operating frequency is 725kHz. At no load, the LM2753 is only 60μA. If the output is connected to the ground, the charge pump remains at a gain of 1, which helps limit the input current (typical 300mA)
