illustrate
The LM2756 is a highly integrated, switched capacitor, multi-display LED driver that can drive up to eight LEDs with a total output current of 180mA in parallel. The regulated internal current source provides excellent current and brightness matching of all LEDs.
The LED driver current is absorbed into three groups of independently controlled LEDs. The primary group (Group A) can be configured to drive the primary mobile phone display used by four, five or six LEDs, while the second group (Group B) can be configured to one, two or three LED drivers to drive secondary displays, keypads and/or LED indicators. An additional driver, the D1C, provides additional reference indicator lighting capabilities.
The device offers excellent efficiency, no inductor use, gain at 3/2 or transfer mode charge pump. Choosing the appropriate maintenance current regulation gain, based on the LED's forward voltage, maximizes efficiency over the input voltage range.
The LM2756 is available in a tiny bump, 0.4mm pitch, thin micro SMD package in the country 20.
