The LM2825 is a complete 1A DC-DC buck converter in a 24-lead molded dual in-line IC package.

All high-efficiency step-down switching regulators (buck) active and passive components are included in the package. Available in 3.3V, 5V, and 12V, as well as two adjustable fixed output voltage versions, these devices can deliver up to 1A of load current to meet electrical specifications.

Self-contained, this converter is also fully protected against output fault conditions such as excessive load current, short circuit, or excessive temperature.
