illustrate
The LM2832 regulator is a monolithic, high-frequency, PWM step-down DC/DC converter in a 6-pin LLP and 8-pin eMSOP package. It offers all the positive features, providing fast transient response and minimal PCB area to precisely regulate local DC/DC conversion. With minimal external components, the LM2832 is easy to use. The driver is capable of 150 meters of 2.0A load inside PMOS switches are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and are available for optimal power density using the state-of-the-art 0.5 micron BiCMOS process. The world-class control circuitry achieves chip-folds as low as 30ns, thus supporting very high output voltages that are reduced to a minimum of 0.6V over the entire conversion 3V to 5.5V input operating voltage range. The switching frequency is set internally at 550 kHz, 1.6 MHz, or 3.0 MHz, allowing the use of very small surface mount inductors and chip capacitors. Even at high operating frequencies, up to 93% efficiency is easily achieved. External shutdown is included and is made up of an ultra-low with an independent 30 nA current. The LM2832 adopts functions such as current mode control and internal compensation, and the wide range of operating conditions is highly stable. Other features include internal soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulse through pulse current limiting, thermal shutdown, and overvoltage protection output.
