The LM124 series consists of four independent, high-gain, internally frequency-compensated op-amps designed for operation over a range of voltages powered from a single supply. It is also possible to operate from splitting the power supply and the low supply current consumption is independent of the amplitude of the power supply voltage.

Applications include sensor amplifiers, DC gain modules, and all conventional op-amp circuitry that can now be easily implemented in a single-supply system. For example, the direct operation of the LM124 series, which is used in digital systems, will be easy without the need for an additional ± 15V power supply to provide the required electronic interface standard +5 V supply voltage.
