The LM306 is a high-speed, differential input, low-impedance voltage ratio
Absorb current (100 mA) output and two strobe inputs. The device detects low-level analog or digital signals and can drive digital logic directly or luminaire relays. Short-circuit protection and inrush current limiting are provided.

Keeping the output high on either strobe low-level input regardless of the differential input. When the input gates are open or at a higher logic level, the output voltage is controlled by a differential input voltage. The circuit will use anything between -3 V and -12 V with little difference in performance from a negative supply voltage.
