The LM124 series consists of four independent, high-gain, internal frequency compensation, which are designed to operate in a wide range of voltage single-supply op-amps. It is also possible that the operation from the split power supply is independent of the voltage of the power supply due to low supply current consumption.

Applications include sensor amplifiers, DC gain modules, and all conventional op-amps that make it easier to implement circuits in a single-supply system. For example, the LM124 series can be operated directly from the standard +5 V supply voltage, using a digital system, and is conveniently supplied without the need for additional interface circuitry required for ± 15 V power supply.
