The LM3310 is a step-up DC/DC converter that integrates an operational amplifier and a gate pulse-modulated switch. A boost converter (boost) is an internal switch used to generate an adjustable output voltage and function a low R DSON maximum efficiency. Selectable operating frequencies of 660kHz and 1.28MHz allow the use of small external components. An external soft-start pin enables the user to customize the soft-start time for specific applications and limit inrush current. The op amp is capable of sourcing/sinking current (typical) of 135 mA. The gate pulse modulation switch and total voltage are 5V to 30V. The LM3310 is a low-profile 24-pin LLP package.
