The LM137/LM337 adjustable three-terminal negative voltage regulators are capable of exceeding the -1.5A output voltage range of -1.2V to -37V and are oversupplied by -1.5A. These regulators are very easy to apply and require only two external resistors to set the output voltage and output frequency compensation capacitors. Good regulation and low thermal transient circuit design are optimized. In addition, the LM137 series features internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and compensation of safety zones, making them virtually overload-proof against blowouts.
The LM137/LM337 services include local card regulation, programmable output voltage regulation or high-precision current regulation for various applications. The LM137/LM337 are ideal to complement the LM117/LM317 adjustable positive regulators.
