The LM3402/02HV is a monolithic switching regulator with a high power LED that provides constant current. Ideal for automotive, industrial, and general lighting applications, they include a 735 mA (typical) buck (buck) regulator with current limiting and high-side N-channel MOSFET switches. Hysteresis control, coupled with an external resistor with control time, enables converter output voltage adjustment required to provide a constant current series and series - parallel connections of different types of LED arrays, LED by pulse width modulation (PWM dimming done), break/open LED protection, low power shutdown and thermal shutdown function settings.
