The LM3402/02HV is a monolithic switch designed to provide a constant current, high power LED voltage regulator. Ideal for automotive, industrial, and general lighting applications, they contain a current-limited high-side N-channel MOSFET switch with a buck (buck) regulator of 735 mA (typical). Coupled with time hysteresis control on control with external resistors enables the converter output voltage to be adjusted as needed to provide a constant current series and series - different number and types of LED arrays in parallel, the LEDs consist of pulse width modulation (PWM dimming), broken/open LED protection, low power shutdown and thermal shutdown complete feature sets.
