The LM3406/06HV is a monolithic switching regulator with a high-power LED that provides a constant current. Ideal for automotive, industrial, and general lighting applications, they contain a high-side N-channel MOSFET switched buck (buck) regulator (typical) with a 2.0A current limit. Control the time on the resistor with true average current and external current detection, so that the output voltage of the converter can be adjusted as needed to provide a constant current, series and series parallel connection of different numbers and types of LED arrays. LEDs are dimmed by using a dedicated logic pin PWM power supply input voltage or via pulse width modulation (PWM). The product's feature set is rounded with low-power shutdown and thermal shutdown protection.
