The LM3502 is a driver for white LED lighting applications. For dual display or large single-string white LED backlight applications, the LM3502 provides a complete solution. The LM3502 contains two white LEDs with a current bypass FET (Field Effect Transitor) switch, ideal for controlling dual display applications. The white LED current is adjustable directly from an RC filter network without the need for a microcontroller's PWM signal.
With no external compensation, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, overvoltage protection, and undervoltage protection, the LM3502 offers superior performance over other special application standard products for step-up white LED drivers.
