TheLM3674 step-down DC-DC converter is optimized for supplying a low-voltage circuit from 2.7V to 5.5V from a single lithium-ion battery and input voltage rail. It can provide up to 600mA of load current over the entire input voltage range. There are several fixed and adjustable output voltage versions.

The device provides superior performance and the performance of mobile phones and similar portable systems. In PWM mode, the device operates at a fixed frequency of 2 MHz (typical). Internally synchronous rectification provides high efficiency during PWM mode operation. In shutdown mode, the device is turned off and the power consumption is reduced to 0.01μA (typical).

The LM3674 is available in SOT23-5, lead-free (PB) and lead-free (NO PB). A high switching frequency of 2 MHz (typical) allows the use of only three slim external surface mount components, an inductor and two ceramic capacitors.
