The LM3674 step-down DC-DC converter is optimized for power delivery from a single lithium-ion battery and input voltage rail low-voltage circuitry from 2.7V to 5.5V. It can provide up to 600mA of load current over the entire input voltage range. There are several fixed and adjustable output voltage versions.

The device offers superior functionality and performance for mobile phones and similar portable systems. In PWM mode, the device operates at a fixed frequency of 2 MHz (typical). Internally synchronous rectification PWM mode provides high efficiency during operation. In shutdown mode, the device shuts down, reducing battery consumption to 0.01μA (typical).

The LM3674 is SOT23-5 and is available in both leaded (PB) and lead-free (NO PB) versions. The high switching frequency of 2 MHz (typical) allows only three slim external surface-mount components, an inductor and two ceramic capacitors.
