The LM3722/LM3723/LM3724 microprocessor monitoring circuit monitors the power supply of the microprocessor and digital system. They provide reset microprocessor reset during power-up, power-down, undervoltage conditions, and manual reset.

The LM3722/LM3723/LM3724 asserts that the reset signal is reduced as long as the voltage falls below the factory-programmed reset threshold. The reset will be asserted to be at least 100 ms above the VC reset threshold.

There is an active LM3722 low^RESET push-pull output. The LM3723 has a highly effective reset push-pull output. There is an active LM3724 low open-drain reset output^.

Three standard reset voltages are available to monitor the appropriate 5V, 3.3V, and 2.5V supply voltages. Other reset voltages are also available; For details, please contact National Semiconductor.
