illustrate
Ideal for space-critical applications, the LM4040's high-precision voltage reference is available in miniature SC70 and SOT-23 surface-mount packages. The advanced design of the LM4040 eliminates the need for external stabilized capacitors while ensuring the stability of any capacitive load, making it easy to use the LM4040. To further reduce the design effort, several fixed reverse breakdown voltages are available: 2.048V, 2.500V, 3.000V, 4.096V, 5.000V, 8.192V, and 10.000V. Minimum operating from 60μA LM4040 - 2.5 to 100 LM4040 - 10.0μA current increase. All versions have a maximum operating current of 15 mA.
The LM4040 uses wafer fuse and Zener ZAP reverse breakdown voltage adjustment to ensure that the accuracy of the main components is better than ± 0.1% (Class A) at 25°C. The temperature drift curvature correction and low dynamic impedance of the bandgap reference ensure a wide range of operating temperature and current-stable reverse breakdown voltage accuracy.
Two reverse breakdown voltage versions of the LM4041 are also available: adjustable and 1.2V. Refer to the LM4041 datasheet.
