The LM4140 series precision reference design combines low power consumption, high accuracy, low drift and noise in a small package.

The LM4140 is the industry's first quoted below-bandgap output voltage option.

The key to the LM4140's propulsion performance is the use of EEPROM registers and CMOS DAC temperature coefficient curvature correction and trimming in the final production test equipment output voltage accuracy.

The main advantage of this method is that it is much more economical than most other bandgap reference methods utilized with DAC resolution.

The LM4140's drive capabilities with low input voltage differential, low supply current, and output make this product ideal for battery-powered and portable applications.
