illustrate
The design of the reference LM4140 precision series combines low power consumption, high accuracy, low drift and noise in a small package.
The LM4140 is the industry's first reference for lower bandgap voltages with output voltage options.
The key to the performance of the moving LM4140 forward is the temperature coefficient curvature correction of the EEPROM register and CMOS DAC and the fine-tuning of the device's output voltage accuracy for use in final production testing.
The main advantage of this approach is that it has a much higher resolution than existing DACs and is the most economical method to utilize with other bandgap references.
The LM4140 driver's ability to have low input and dropout, low supply current, and output makes this product ideal for battery-powered and portable applications.
The LM4140 is available at three levels (A, B, C) with an initial accuracy of 0.1% and a temperature coefficient of 3, 6 and 10 ppm/°C. For lower temperature coefficients, contact US National Semiconductor.
The device exceeds the specified temperature range (0°C to +70°C) and is available in a compact 8-pin SO package.
For other output voltage options, from 0.5V to 4.5V, National Semiconductor contacted.
