LM48580 is a fully differential, high-voltage ceramic speaker that drives piezoelectric actuators and portable multimedia devices. Part of National Semiconductor's PowerWise product line, LM48580 Class H architecture offers significant power savings over traditional Class AB amplifiers. The device provides a 30V PP output driver while consuming only 15mW of quiescent power consumption.

LM48580 is a single power drive, an integrated boost converter, which allows the device to deliver 30V PP from a single 3.6V supply.

LM48580 has a three-pin programmable gain setting and a low-power shutdown mode that reduces quiescent current consumption to 0.1μA. LM48580 is in an ultra-small 12-bump micro SMD package (1.46 mm x 1.97 mm).
