With its direct coupled output technology, the LM48821 is a variable gain audio power amplifier capable of delivering 52mW per channelRMSLess than 1% THD+N into a 16Ω single-ended load from a 3V supply. I 2 The C quantity control has a range of 76 dB and 18 dB.

The LM48821's Tru-GND technology utilizes advanced charge pump technology to generate the LM48821's negative supply voltage. This eliminates the need for output coupling capacitors typically used for single-ended loads.

Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed to provide high quality output power with very few external components. The LM48821 does not require output coupling or starter capacitors, making it ideal for use in mobile phones and other low voltage applications where minimum power consumption is a major requirement.

The LM48821 features selectable low-power shutdown and channel selection modes.

The LM48821 includes advanced output transient suppression circuitry to eliminate noise that would otherwise occur in turn-on and turn-off transitions.
