LM48861 is a single-supply-powered, ground-referenced stereo headphone amplifier. LM48861 part of National Semiconductor's PowerWise ® product family, it consumes only 3MW of power but still delivers great audio performance. The ground-referenced architecture eliminates the need for large DC blocking capacitors to save board space and reduce costs for traditional headphone amplifiers.

LM48861 function common mode detection, corrects any discrepancies between the amplifier's grounding and potential headphone return to the terminal, minimizing noise generated by any justification mismatch.

LM48861提供22mW/channel成 The power supply requirements allow operation from 1.2V to 2.8V. The high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) at 217Hz 83 dB allows the device to operate in noisy environments without the need for additional power regulation. The low-power shutdown mode reduces the supply current consumption to 0.01μA.

Advanced click suppression eliminates transient noise heard when power-up/down and off. LM48861 is an ultra-compact 12-bump, 0.4mm pitch micro SMD package (1.215 mm x 1.615 mm).
