The LM49200 is a fully integrated stereo power amplifier capable of delivering 500mW of continuous power per channel averaging 1% THD+N8Ω using a 3.3V power supply audio subsystem. The LM49200 includes a standalone stereo headphone amplifier that can deliver up to 32Ω to 35MW per channel.

The LM49200 has three input channels. A pair of single-ended and fully differential input channels. The LM49200 features input stage with 32-step digital volume control and an 8-step digital volume control headphone output stage.

Digital volume control and output mode are available via two-wire I 2 C-compatible interface that allows flexible routing and mixing audio channels.

The LM49200 is designed for cellular, PDAs and other portable handheld applications. The high level of integration reduces external components. Realistically, headphone amplifiers eliminate bulky DC-blocking output capacitors, reducing the required board space and cost.
