The LM4927 is a fully differential audio power amplifier designed primarily for demanding applications in mobile phones and other portable communication devices. It is capable of delivering 2.5 watts of continuous power with a power of 4 Load less than 10% distortion (THD+N) from a 5V DC supply.

Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed to provide high-quality output power with very few external components. TheLM4927 does not require output coupling capacitors or start-up capacitors, making it ideal for use in mobile phones and other low-voltage applications where lowest power consumption is a major requirement.

The LM4927 features a low-power shutdown mode. To facilitate this work, shutdown can enable logic low. In addition, the LM4927 has an internal thermal shutdown protection mechanism.

The LM4927 includes advanced POP and click-through noise cancellation circuitry that would otherwise occur in the on- and off-conversion process.
