The LM4928 is a stereo fully differential stereo audio power amplifier designed primarily for applications where mobile phones and other portable communications devices are demanding. It is capable of delivering a continuous average power of 1.2 watts to 8 Less than 1% distortion (THD+N) from a 5V DC supply load.

Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed to provide high-quality output power with very few external components. The LM4928 does not require an output coupling capacitor or a starter capacitor, making it ideal for use in mobile phones and other low-voltage applications where minimal power consumption is a major requirement.

The LM4928 has a low-power downtime mode. To facilitate this work, shutdown can enable logic low. In addition, the LM4928 has an internal thermal shutdown protection mechanism.

The LM4928 incorporates advanced POP and click-through noise cancellation circuitry that would otherwise occur in the on- and off-conversion process.
