The LM4995 is an audio power amplifier designed primarily for demanding applications in mobile phones and other portable communication devices. It is capable of delivering a 5V DC power supply distortion (THD+N) of less than 1% continuous average power of 1.2W8ΩBTL load.

Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed to provide high-quality output power with very few external components. The LM4995 does not require an output coupling capacitor or a starter capacitor, making it ideal for use in mobile phones and other low-voltage applications where minimal power consumption is a major requirement.

The LM4995 features a low-power shutdown mode with low shutdown pins for driving logic. In addition, the LM4995 has an internal thermal shutdown protection mechanism.

The LM4995 includes advanced POP and click circuitry that eliminate noise that would otherwise occur when switching on and off.

The LM4995 is unit gain stable and can be set by configuring an external gain.
