The LM5006 Switching Regulator Functions All functions required to implement a low-cost, high-efficiency buck bias regulator. This high voltage regulator contains an 80V N-channel MOSFET switch and starter. The device is easy to implement and is available in an MSOP-10 package. The regulator's control scheme uses an inverse proportion of time on V_IN。 This feature results in operating frequency to maintain relatively constant line and load changes. The control plan does not require loop compensation and responds to results with fast transient response. A smart current limit is to implement a forced off-time that is inversely proportional to V_OUT。 This scheme ensures short-circuit control while providing minimal foldback.
