LM5007 switching regulator function, all functions require the implementation of low-cost, high-efficiency, step-down bias regulator. This high voltage regulator contains an 80-volt, 0.7A N-channel buck switch. The device is easy to apply for and offer in MSOP-8 and thermally enhanced LLP-8 packages. The regulator is based on a hysteresis control usage time inversely proportional to V IN. This feature allows for operating frequencies to maintain relatively constant load and input voltage variations. Hysteresis control, eliminating the need for control loop compensation while providing very fast load transient response. The smart current limit on the LM5007 is inversely proportional to the V OUT when it is forced to shut down. This current limiting plan reduces load current foldback. Other protection features include: thermal shutdown, VCC undervoltage lockout, gate-driven undervoltage lockout, and maximum duty cycle limit.
