The steps of the LM5008 switching regulator require the implementation of the functional characteristics of a low-cost, high-efficiency, buck bias regulator. This high voltage regulator contains a 100 volt N-channel buck switch. The device is available in easy-to-implement MSOP-8 and thermally enhanced LLP-8 packages. This regulator is inversely proportional to V based on the ON time used for hysteresis control_INof the plan. This feature allows the operating frequency to remain relatively stable. Hysteresis control eliminates the need for loop compensation. Implementing smart current limit forces the shutdown time, which is inversely proportional to VOUT. This plan ensures short-circuit protection while providing minimal switchback.
