LM5009A LM5009 COT Buck Switch Regulator is a functional variant. The functional differences LM5009A are: the minimum input operating voltage is 6 volts, the time equation is slightly different, and a minimum load current requirement is removed.

LM5009A steps to switch the regulator and provide all the features needed to achieve a low-cost, high-efficiency, step-down bias regulator. This high voltage regulator contains a 100 volt N-channel buck switch. The device is available in easy-to-implement MSOP-8 and thermally enhanced LLP-8 packages. The regulator is based on controlling the time to use ON inversely proportional to the V plan. This feature allows for a relatively stable operating frequency. The requirements of the control plan do not require loop compensation. The implementation of smart current limiting forced shutdown time is inversely proportional to VOUT. This plan ensures short-circuit control while providing minimal turnback. Other features include: thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, undervoltage lockout, maximum duty cycle limit gate drive, V CC, and a pre-charge switch.
