The step LM5010A switching regulator is an enhanced version of the LM5010 with an input operating range extended to a minimum of 6V. LM5010A function, all functions require a low-cost, high-efficiency, step-down regulator capable of delivering more than 1A of load current. Such a high voltage regulator integrates an N-channel buck switch and is available in LLP-10 and TSSOP-14EP packages for enhanced heat dissipation. The constant on-time remediation scheme eliminates loop compensation, fast load transient response and simplified circuit implementation. Changes in operating frequency, line and load, due to the inverse relationship between input voltage and time, remain constant. The valley current limit detection is set at 1.25A. Other features include: VCC undervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown gate voltage driven, lockout, and maximum duty cycle limiting.
