The LM5010 switching regulator has step functions that all require a low-cost, high-efficiency, buck-bias regulator capable of delivering more than 1A of load current. Such a high voltage regulator contains an N-channel buck switch and is available in LLP-10 and TSSOP-14EP packages for enhanced heat dissipation. Hysteresis regulation plan, eliminates loop compensation, results in fast load transient response, and simplifies circuit implementation. Changes in operating frequency, line and load, due to the inverse relationship between input voltage and time, remain constant. The valley current limit detection is set at 1.25A. Other features include: V CC undervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout door driver, maximum duty cycle limit.
