The LM5010 switching regulator has all the functions needed to implement a low-cost, high-efficiency, buck bias regulator capable of delivering more than 1A of load current. Such a high voltage regulator contains an N-channel buck switch and is available in LLP-10 and TSSOP-14EP packages for enhanced heat dissipation. Regulatory planning for hysteresis, no loop compensation, fast load transient response results, and simplified circuit implementation. Changes in operating frequency, line and load remain unchanged due to the inverse relationship between input voltage and time. The valley current limit detection is set at 1.25A. Other features include: V_CC'sUndervoltage lockout, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout gate driver, maximum duty cycle limit.
