All the necessary features of the LM5015 High Voltage Switching Mode Regulator feature for efficient high-voltage switching and dual-switching flyback regulators with minimal external components. This easy-to-use regulator integrates high-side and low-side 75-volt N-channel MOSFETs with a peak current limit of as low as 1 amp. The clamping voltage that spans two switching topologies with MOSFETs is the input voltage, and the allowable input voltage range is close to the MOSFET's rating. On the basis of the voltage regulator control method, it provides current mode control loop compensation and superior input transient suppression line voltage feedforward intrinsic relief.

The operating frequency is set by one resistor and programmable up to 750 kHz. The oscillator can also be synchronized to an external clock. Other protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and remote shutdown capabilities. The device is packaged in a TSSOP-14EP package and features an exposed chip attachment board for enhanced heat dissipation.
