The LM5033 high-voltage PWM controller includes all the functions required to implement push-pull, half-bridge, and full-bridge topologies. Applications range from closed-loop voltage-mode converters with highly regulated output voltages, or open-loop "DC transformers" such as intermediate bus converters (IBCs) with > efficiency of 95%. Two alternating gate driver outputs to ensure dead time. The LM5033 includes a start-up regulator with a wide input voltage range of over 15V and 100V operation. Other features include: precision reference voltage output, current limit detection, remote shutdown, soft start, synchronization capability, and thermal shutdown. This high-speed IC has a total propagation delay of less than 100 ns and a 1MHz capable oscillator.
