The LM5035B half-bridge controller/gate driver contains the necessary features to implement the line voltage feed-forward voltage mode control used by the half-bridge topology power converter.

The LM5035B is a variant of the functionality of LM5035A half-bridge PWM controllers. The LM5035B offers a higher maximum duty cycle and a higher start-up regulator output ratio LM5035A or LM5035 current. In addition, the LM5035B of the synchronous rectifier drive output is locked low in shutdown mode.

While the LM5035, LM5035A and LM5035B include a floating high-side gate driver, which is the ability to operate from a supply voltage up to 105V. Both high-side and low-side gate drivers are capable of 2A peak capability. An internal high-voltage start-up regulator is included, as well as programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and overvoltage protection (OVP). Oscillators are programmed to frequencies up to 2MHz with a single resistor. The oscillator can also be synchronized to an external clock.
