The LM5037 PWM controller includes all the features such as push-pull, half-bridge, and full-bridge balanced dual-ended power converter topologies. These double-ended topologies allow for higher efficiency and greater power density than ordinary single-ended flyback topologies and are forward-looking. The LM5037 can be configured for external component control with minimal voltage mode or current mode. Two alternating gate drive outputs are provided at a peak output current of 1.2A. The LM5037 can be configured to input voltage rails from a wide range of 13V to 100V directly from above. Other features include programmable maximum duty cycle limit, line undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup mode, adjustable timeout delay, soft start, and 2 MHz synchronization for precise reference and thermal vibration fault protection shutdown.
